“Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier.”

- Mother Teresa

Being deeply inspired and moved by the spirit of Mother Teresa, B.H.U. Wellness is born carrying the aspiration of helping everyone that comes to us to become better and happier.

Immersed in the wellness industry and spiritual world for over 15 years, we have gained valuable insights into the true meaning of wellness - embrace life to the fullest with all our body and mind.

Through B.H.U. Wellness, we hope to shed a light on the importance of mental wellness, and by sharing our experiences and expertises to everyone we meet, to catalyze constructive changes within themselves, their relationships, and their relationship to life in general.

“For the son of Suddhodana, the prince of India, without whom I would still not know I am a wanderer" -- Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche

Born in HK, educated in Swiss, worked in New York/Macau/Shanghai/HK, I'd say there're two sides of me - professionally being a hotelier, personally being a Buddhist lay practitioner.

Converted to Buddhism at the age of 12, till now, the wisdom and teachings that I had received have helped me in an ineffable way. It shaped my outlook on life and most importantly, helped me to find the light within myself.

Being a working woman myself for all these years, I know by heart the struggles and hardships that women in modern times are facing in areas like relationships, emotions and mental health. By sharing my experiences in spiritual practice and my journey towards finding peace of mind, I hope to lend a hand to those in need by helping them to find their own inner light.

Here's more info about me ;)

  • Master of Buddhist Studies at the University of Hong Kong

  • Women empowerment coach specializing in confidence and relational intelligence

Born in Taiwan and raised in New Zealand, my spiritual journey began in 2002.

I delved into yoga initially for a simple reason: to shed a few kilos. Starting my practice at Auckland's first Bikram Yoga studio, I was quickly captivated. Within just two weeks of dedicated practice, I noticed a remarkable transformation. Not only did my skin glow, but I also shed those extra kilos.

In 2009, I became a certified yoga teacher in Hong Kong, where I began teaching part-time. The allure of traditional yoga pulled me deeper, leading me on a journey to India in 2011 for advanced training. This trip proved to be pivotal, altering the course of my life in profound ways.

Living with a weak immune system, I had long suffered from rhinitis and allergies. In India's dusty environment exacerbated my condition. However, within a week of practice, something remarkable happened: my symptoms vanished. I felt energized and revitalized, discovering the transformative power of yoga, pranayama, and meditation.

In India, I was bestowed with the spiritual name Gita, meaning 'keeper of the light.' The name, reflecting my newfound purpose to share the illuminating benefits of yoga and meditation with others.

Alongside my teaching journey, I navigated a career in public relations and marketing, eventually founding my own company in 2016, while also taking up Muay Thai.

I understand the challenges life presents and appreciate the solace that yoga and meditation offer. That’s why I co-founded BHU, a sanctuary where ancient practices converge with our unique program focusing on energy and stress management, as well as women’s empowerment.
